Mrs. Petra Reyes, age 60, of McKinney, Texas passed away August 1, 2009, at the Medical Center of McKinney. She was born on December 4, 1948, in McKinney to Santos and Vincenta Urbano Ponse. In 1986, she married Severiano Reyes in McKinney. Mrs. Reyes was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Family in McKinney. She is survived by her husband, Severiano Reyes; children, Anthony Ponse of McKinney, Severiano Reyes Jr, Rosa Perez, Maria Tena, Elida Lopez, Ana Diaz and Dina Tena all of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Delfina Tanguma, Lupe Solis and Savina Partida all of McKinney; brother, Isidro Ponse also of McKinney; and a host of other loving family and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at Holy Family in McKinney with The Rev. Harold C. Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
