Mrs. Peggy Ruth Terry, age 74, of Van Alstyne, Texas, passed away December 27, 2005, in Lavon, Texas. She was born March 19, 1931,in Valdasta, Texas, to Joseph Elijah and Georgia Glenn Jordan Braswell. On November 12, 1948, she married Jolly E. Terry in McKinney, Texas. Mrs. Terry was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in McKinney. She is survived by her husband, Jolly E. Terry of Van Alstyne, Texas; sons, Jolly Wayne Terry and wife, Annetta, also of Van Alstyne, and Ronald Edgar Terry and wife, Debbie of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Karen Nelson and husband, Marty of Anna, Texas, Gigi Keyes and husband, Bruce of Lavon, Texas, and Lori Sprouse and husband, David of McKinney, Texas; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Dean Burnside of McKinney, Texas. She was preceded in death by her son, Mitchell Jareth Terry; daughter, April Ruth Terry; parents, Joe Jordan and Georgia Glenn Braswell; brother, Dub Jordan; and sister, Leona Jordan. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 30, 2005, at Stoney Point Cemetery with Dr. Lonnie Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
