Peggy Ruth Sanders, age 76, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 20, 2012, in McKinney. Peggy was born July 2, 1935, in Gallman, Mississippi, to Gaden and Mattie (White) Posey. She married A. C. Sanders on December 6, 1952, in Mississippi. She is survived by her husband, A. C. Sanders of McKinney, Texas; son, David “Monk” Sanders of Princeton, Texas; grandson, David L. Sanders, also of Princeton; granddaughters, Shelly Elsey and Nicole Thompson, both of McKinney, Texas; nine great-grandchildren, Timmothy, Sarah, Madelyn, and Nathaniel Elsey, Haylee, Britney, and Seth Thompson, and Savannah and Alyssa Sanders; brothers, Ellis Posey of Austin, Texas and Lynn Posey of Bonham, Texas; and sister-in-law, Estelle Sanders of McKinney, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaden and Mattie Posey and sister, Janie Bailey. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2012, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
