Peggy Jackson, age 77, of McKinney, Texas, passed away March 9, 2008, in McKinney. Peggy was born February 23, 1931 in Iowa Park, Texas to Ira Lee and Eula May (Thompson) Young. She married H. C. Jackson on February 14, 1950 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Peggy was a telephone operator at Sheppard Air Force Base. She was active member of the Naomi Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in McKinney and an avid card player. She is survived by her son, Michael Jackson and his wife, Lynda of Kauai, Hawaii; daughter, Renea Brown and her husband, Steve of Anna, Texas; grandchildren, Lonnie Jackson and wife, Noemi of California, Matthew Brown and wife, Kimberly of Aubrey, Texas, Angela Cook and husband, David of McKinney, Texas and Colin Jackson of Kauai, Hawaii; great-grandchildren, Amber and Sarah Cook; brother, H. D. Young and wife, Wanda of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. C. Jackson, in 1966, parents, Ira and Eula Young and sister, Helen Cox. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 13, 2008, at First Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas with Rev. Randy Morlan, Rev. Frank Mathews, and Dr. Jeff Warren officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Memorials may be made to the cancer ministry at First Baptist Church in McKinney.
