Pearl Estep Littrell

Pearl Estep Littrell passed peacefully from this life May 12, 2011, at the age of 92 three days short of her 93rd birthday. Pearl was born on May 15, 1918 in Anna to Lizzie (Ford) and Harvey Estep. She married Amos Littrell on January 3, 1946 in Weston. During WW II she worked for North American Aviation in Grand Prairie. She retired from Texas Instruments in Dallas where she worked for 11 years. Few things mattered more to Pearl than her family – she is survived by daughter Melba and son-in-law Lanny Greer of McKinney and grandsons Brad Greer and wife Minnie of Fort Worth and Clint Greer and wife Misti of McKinney and two great-grandchildren Nicolas and Nicole of Fort Worth. She is also survived by sisters Una Bell Van Hoozer of Weston, Audrey Stembridge of Gilmer, Hester Barnes of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas and Oleta Self of Dumas and brothers Fred Estep of McKinney and Aubrey (Bud) Estep of Garland as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Amos and brothers Bob, Vance, Charley and Evans (Sas) Estep. Pearl was a member of the Chambersville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Chambersville United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Saturday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
