Pauline Franklin, age 95, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 26, 2011. She was born April 3, 1916 in Austin, Texas to Alvin Cluck and Nellie Prewitt Cluck. On April 29, 1953 she married Harry Franklin in Dallas, Texas. Polly was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and former member of the Daughters of the King. She is survived by her daughter, Cathie Walner and husband, Bob of McKinney, Texas; granddaughters, Nancy McFarland and husband, Patrick of Dallas, Texas, Renee Hooks of Wills Point, Texas and Sheri Simonieg of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren, Gus and Ty Hooks, both of Wills Point, Texas, Claire McFarland of Dallas, Texas; sister, Marie Tatum of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Franklin, brother, Donald Cluck and sister, Evelyn Caldwell. Special thanks go to Monica, Lillian and Joyce of At Home Companions for their very loving care and to the VNA Hospice who were wonderful. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 7, 2011at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
