Paul Williams, our dear Papa, left his body to return to his heavenly family on Saturday, July 3, 2010. Paul is survived by his loving wife Mellodean, his 4 children, many grand children and great grand children. At his side throughout his transition the entire family: Mellodean, Joe, Lynda, Corey, Paige, Carson, Payne, Kelly, AJ, Drew, Ainsley, Paula, Heather, Amy, Ashley, Velinda, Jim, Michael, Jaymi, Riley Ann, Beth, Norman, Isabella, David, Robyn, PJ, Natasha, Harper, Gentry, Mary, Amanda, Tom, Jordan, Johnna, Jacob and Jacy were by his side either physically or spiritually. “Papa” as he was lovingly known by his family, was a fine musician and singer. He loved playing guitar and singing. He often whistled songs to the mockingbirds and enjoyed hearing their calls. He was a soft spoken man, with a great sense of humor. His family meant the world to him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by us all, but within our hearts always. There will be a memorial service for Paul on Friday July 9, 2010 at 10:30 at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Hurst, TX. Our deep and heartfelt thanks to the hospice workers who made Papa’s last days peaceful and comfortable. We cannot thank them enough for caring for us all.
