Paul J. Hart of Plano, Texas passed away October 24, 2013 at the age of 55. He was born October 24, 1958 to Ira D. Hart, Jr. and Mary Louise (Keathley) Hart in Lawton, Oklahoma. Paul married Mona Michele Searcey on August 5, 1978 in Clinton, Oklahoma. He grew up in Anadarko, Oklahoma where he graduated high school in 1976. Paul attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a bachelor and masters degree in accounting. He worked for Global Resource Professionals and later started his own consulting company in finance and accounting. Paul enjoyed watching sports, especially the Oklahoma Sooners , Dallas Cowboys and Allen Americans Hockey. He loved spending time with his family, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Paul’s smile would always light up the room and he was always the life of the party.

He is survived by his wife, Michele Hart of Plano, Texas; son, Joshua Hart also of Plano; father, Ira D. Hart, Jr. of Lawton, Oklahoma; brothers, John Hart of Dallas, Texas, David Hart and wife, Brenda of North Richland Hills, Texas, Stephen Hart and wife Lisa of Sacramento, California; ten nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Ramona and Lloyd Searcey of Edmond, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Scott Searcey and wife, MaryBeth of Edmond, Oklahoma and a host of other loving family and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Christ United Methodist Church, 3101 Coit Road, Plano, Texas 75075.

The following was Paul’s life motto: “The master in the art of living……simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.”     James Michener
