Patti Kay Watson, age 60, of Richardson, Texas, passed away December 1, 2011, in Dallas, Texas. Patti was born August 27, 1951, in Dallas, Texas, to Ray and Faye (Lane) Watson. She was a 1969 graduate of Richardson High School. Patti was an avid Native American and animal rights activist and was particularly dedicated to the protection of wolves. She is survived by her mother, Faye Watson of Richardson, Texas; brother, Kerry Watson and wife, Joyce of Wylie, Texas; nephew, Chris Watson and his wife, Valerie of Denison, Texas; good friend, Ben Pate of Richardson, Texas; additional good friends, Dickie Thomas and wife, Betty of Leonard, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Watson. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. Jim Everidge officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Sunday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
