Funeral Services for Patsy Ruth Yates Broyles, 77 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 10 A.M. Monday February 14th at the First Baptist Church of Leonard. Danny Henderson and Dewey Watson will officiate. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday February 13th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Mrs. Broyles was born April 4, 1933 at Blue Ridge, Texas. Her parents were Floyd Everett and Eva Marie Evans Yates. She graduated from Blue Ridge High School. She married J.C. Broyles July 19, 1957 at Durant, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leonard where she served in the nursery for 18+ years and was a part of the AWANA Program for 10 years. She was a member of TOPS and an avid Texas Ranger Fan. She passed away Friday February 11th at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ in Sherman. She is survived by her son: Ricky Hallmark of Wylie; her daughter: Ruthie Hanson of Leonard; her sister and brother-in-law: Melba and Alvin Barnett of Garland; her sister: Betty Antwiler of Caddo, OK; her 4 grandchildren: Bobby Lee Hanson, Amy Hanson, Rusty Hanson and Cary Rivas; her 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; her God-daughter: Tina Manning; her Guardian Angels: Sharon and Darrell Grintz; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lonny Yates. Memorials may be made to the AWANA Program of the First Baptist Church of Leonard.
