Patsy “Pat” Rigsby of McKinney, Texas passed away on December 17, 2015 at the age of 90. She was born November 15, 1925 to Berton A. and Rebecca I. (Dixon) Morris in Whitewright, Texas. Pat married Ronald Rigsby on February 19, 1944 in Van Alstyne, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2003. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Golda Mayfield and husband Dave of Whitewright, Texas; son, Jack Rigsby of Trenton, Texas; daughter, Peggy Golladay and husband Randy of Anna, Texas; grandchildren, Scott Reynolds, Kelly Rigsby, Nichelle Sims, Amy Cummings, Benjie Reynolds, Eric Blackwell, Casey Blackwell, and Shawna McGehee; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and twelve siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. Charles Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening, December 21, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
