Mrs. Patsy Ruth Bratcher of Blue Ridge, Texas passed away July 25, 2015 in Farmersville,Texas. She was born June 28, 1925 in Farmersville the daughter of Jeff and Tellie Shinn Patterson. She was a graduate of Farmersville High School and married John R. Bratcher December 24, 1947 in Farmersville. She was a resident of Blue Ridge, Texas for over 60 years where she and her husband operated Bratcher Hardware for 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, Texas. Patsy is survived by her son; Johnny Bratcher and wife Diana of Farmersville, Texas, grandson; John Paul Bratcher and wife Katee of Whitesboro, Texas granddaughter; Amy Davis of Fairview, Texas and great grandson John Paxton Bratcher of Whitesboro, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, Texas with Rev. Johnnie Jones officiating and interment will be in the Blue Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Monday evening at the First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge. Contributions may be made to the 1st Baptist Church Blue Ridge Building Fund or the Blue Ridge Cemetery Permanent Fund in her honor.
