Patricia Ann (nee Schwartz) Everett of Allen, Texas, returned to her maker on December 13, 2013. She was born November 30, 1942 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Frederick W.T. and Viola (Girardin) Schwartz. Patricia was loved by and cherished for 49 years by LeRoy Charles Everett, whom she married September 23, 1964.
She graduated from St. John's Queens Hospital School of Nursing, New York, N.Y. in 1965, as a registered nurse. Patricia was a devoted, dedicated and compassionate nurse, and retired after 25 years, due to health problems. She, was a Master Gardener who transformed many yards, she was a member of the Cimarron Craft Group with her friends Sharon Bernier, Brenda Caudell, and Maureen Pope. The group crafted and decorated for all occasions, including Sundays. Patricia loved cats and dogs and rescued many of them over the decades. Patricia was a marvelous friend to all.
She was a loving mother to daughter, Korrie Everett Vita and husband Lanny Vita; son, Scott Everett; and daughter in law, Kim Shallcross and husband Chris Shallcross. Adored and loving “Grammie” to triplets Jack (returned at 10 days of life to Heaven), Robin and Abby Hagle, McLean Hagle, Henry Hagle, Caitlin Shallcross, her Gardening Master, Marilyn Everett, Katherine Everett, Samuel Everett; and Great-Granddaughter, Lillith Vita.
