Pat Murray, age 58, went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2015. Pat was born to Dorrell Gene and Avys Rae Murray in McKinney, TX. He grew up in McKinney and graduated as Valedictorian from McKinney High School in 1975. Pat graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University with a BBA in Accounting in 1980. He worked for Price Waterhouse for five years and an accounting firm in Addison for one year before opening his own CPA practice in McKinney in January of 1987. Pat met the love of his life, Ronda Irvin, while at Baylor and they married in August of 1980. He was the blessed father of three wonderful daughters – Jenny, Sara, and Dana.
In his spare time, Pat loved to serve in his local church in the music ministry and various financial committees. He had many fond memories of musical mission trips and productions. But his greatest love in leisure was the game of golf and he was thankful for a dear friend who in recent years mentored him and taught him, thus reigniting his love of the game.
Pat will be greatly missed by his wife Ronda, daughters, Jenny (husband Tim), Dana (husband Dustin), and Sara, his parents D.G. and Avys, his brother Mike, his accounting firm family, and many other beloved family members and friends. Pat was a wonderful son, husband, father, and friend and he loved his Lord with a constant and deep faith and trust.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at First Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expwy. North, Allen, Texas, 75013.

The family requests those attending the memorial service wear purple or another color in honor of Pat's presence with the Lord.
