Par Lee Evans Rodgers, age 95, of Leonard, Texas, passed away August 23, 2008 at Leonard Manor in Leonard, Texas. She was born August 13, 1913, in Ochelata, Oklahoma, the daughter of William and Dora Ellen Kyler (Evans) Wesley. She moved with her family from Oklahoma to Odessa, Texas in 1945, where she worked in sales for more than thirty years. She married Asa Lloyd Rodgers in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 15, 1933. He preceded her in death in March of 1994. She married Joe Sequiche Morris on March 20, 1998 in Randolph, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2005. She was a member of the Randolph Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Mickey Rodgers and Janet Rodgers Swinney of Mesa, Arizona and Jane Rodgers Dodson and her husband Charlie of Trenton, TX; her grandchildren, Charla Dodson Pennacchia of Sherman, TX, Ted Dodson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Latayne Swinney Beauford, Asa Ron Swinney and Ray Swinney all of Mesa, AZ; her sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Don Myers of Rogers, AR; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerious nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Randolph-Lindsey Cemetery at Randolph, Texas with Rev. David Brackett officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Leonard, Texas.
