Pamela Gail (Boren) Caldwell, age 59, passed away June 10, 2014 in Plano, Texas after a long but courageous battle with cancer. Pam was born August 2, 1954 in McKinney, Texas to Winfred “Wimpy” Boren and Patricia “Pat” (Roberts) Boren. She married George Caldwell on November 12, 1977 in McKinney, Texas. Pam retired in 2003 from the City of Plano after twenty-seven years. She was a member of Waddill Street Baptist Church in McKinney.
Pam is survived by her husband of thirty-six years George Caldwell of Plano; son, Tanner and wife Laura of McKinney; daughter, Traci Cooper and husband Robert of Wylie; son, Trent and wife Sarah of McKinney; mother, Pat Boren of McKinney; sister, Lea Ann Rhodes of McKinney; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was “Nana” to three granddaughters, Chloe and Cambrie Cooper and Allison Caldwell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Winfred Boren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
