Otis Watson Morris

Otis went to be with the Lord, September 28, 2008. He was born November 12, 1925 to George W. and Cletice Riley Morris. On January 27, 1956 he married Edna Fay Renfro. Otis is survived by his loving wife, Edna Fay of Winnsboro, Texas; son, Paul Kevin Morris and wife, Tammy of Winnsboro, Texas. Otis leaves behind two grandchildren, Brandon Paul Morris currently stationed in Iraq and his wife, Megan of Indiana; granddaughter, Kaylon Renae Thornburgh and husband, Terry of Winnsboro, Texas and three great-grandchildren, Adrian Paul and Brayson Joel Thornburgh and Matthew Elijah Morris. Otis is also survived by his sisters, Mary R. Welch of McKinney, Helen J. Calverley of Princeton; brother, Frank J. Morris and his wife, Patsy of McKinney and a host of nieces and nephews as well as numerous family and friends. Otis was a mechanic with the Texas Department of Highway and Public Transportation in McKinney. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 2008 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
