Orta Simoneaux

Ms. Simoneaux, age 90, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at 6:35 a.m. at The Belmont at Twin Creeks Nursing Home in Allen, Texas. She was a native of Abbeville, Louisiana, a former resident of Carencro, Louisiana, and currently lived with a granddaughter in McKinney, Texas. Ms. Simoneaux was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church in Carencro, Louisiana, where she was a member of the Bonne Mort Society and the St. Anne Society. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Kapsinow in Lafayette, Louisiana, for twenty-five years.

Survivors include five grandchildren, Michelle LeBlanc Sedtal and husband, Michael, of Plano Texas; Sara LeBlanc Hover and husband, Eric of McKinney Texas; Tad LeBlanc and wife, Saira, of Lumberton Texas; Lauren Webster, and Jacob Webster both from Lafayette; ten great-grandchildren, Meagan Sedtal, Martin Sedtal, Lyndsey Hover, Valerie Hover, Dylan Hover, Logan Spencer, Nathan LeBlanc, Ethan LeBlanc, Jonathan LeBlanc, Ava LeBlanc; two great-great-grandchildren, Marcus Flowers and Mason Williams; one step-great-granddaughter, Mykeal Maes; and one sister, Aurora LeBlanc Delcambre of Delcambre.

Ms. Simoneaux was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore LeBlanc and the former NaomiThibodeaux, her husband, Will Simoneaux; one son Charles M. LeBlanc; one daughter Sherilyn Kaye Webster; four brothers Paul LeBlanc, Simon LeBlanc, Theodore A. LeBlanc, Pierre D. LeBlanc; one sister, Jeanne LeBlanc Romero; one son-in-law, Edmond Wright Webster, Jr.; and two step-granddaughters, Julie Webster and Sammie Webster.

A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Drive, Dallas, Texas 75248.
