Ophelia Grumbles, age 87, of Celina, Texas passed away Friday, July 8, 2005 at her residence. She was born January 28, 1918 in Pecan Gap, Texas, daughter of the late Mollie Mae (Sandlin) and Andrew John Reid. Ophelia married Ray Grumbles on June 6, 1940. After 60 years of marriage, he preceded her in death in October 2000. She was a school teacher for 40 years before retiring in 1978. Survivors are; daughter Karol Omlor and husband Larry of Dallas, Texas; son, Randy Grumbles and wife Linda of Celina; two grandchildren, Tina McMahon and husband Donald and Brandon Grumbles, all of Celina, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 11, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Celina, Texas with Dr. Raymond Horne officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina. Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, 2005 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Celina.
