Mrs. Opal Wheeler, age 91, of Dallas, Texas,passed away on February 20, 2006,in Mesquite, Texas. She was born on June 12, 1914 in Cleburne, Texas to Finch E. Scruggs and Birdie (Murphy) Scruggs. She was married to Cecil K. Wheeler on January 19, 1933, in Frederick,Oklahoma. Mrs. Wheeler was a homemaker and a member of Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Cecil K. Wheeler of Dallas, Texas; daughter Lynette Hagaman and husband Alan K. Hagaman of Dallas, Texas; and a grandson Joshua Alan Hagaman. Her parents and a son, Royce Lynn, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 22, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow Chapel with Danny Hawk officiating. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Cemetery in Burkburnett, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Care Center, 1000 Wiggins Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75150.
