Opal Inez Green, wife, mother and grandmother, passed away November 2, 2007 in Quinton, Oklahoma. She was born January 31, 1924, in Bokhoma, Oklahoma, to Nettie Lenora (Edwards) Spillman and William Hiram Spillman. On August 3, 1941, she married Johnny William Green in Tom, Oklahoma. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and member of the Church of God. She is survived by her sons, Wallace and his wife Georgia of Garland, TX, Johnny and his wife Carolyn of Quinton, Jimmy and his wife Doylene of Arlington, TX, Larry and his wife JoAnne of McKinney, and Keith and his wife Marcella of Garland; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Spillman and his wife Helen of Pottsboro, TX and Walter Spillman and his wife Maxine of Corpus Christi, TX; and sisters, Viola Chadwick of Arkansas, Roma Welch of Tennessee, and Trannie Turnley of Idabel, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one grandchild; one brother; and four sisters. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, November 5, 2007 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Brother Kenneth Ishmael officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday morning, one hour prior to the service.
