Omar Lozano, age 66, of Plano, Texas, passed away May 28, 2011, in Plano. Omar was born March 3, 1945, in Harlingen, Texas, to Luis and Dora (Saldana) Lozano, Jr. He married Pamela Aley on December 24, 1982, in Tucson, Arizona. Omar had a bachelor of science degree from National University. He was a consultant engineer with Polatomics. Omar retired from Raytheon, formerly Texas Instruments after forty years. He is survived by his wife, Pamela of Plano, Texas; mother, Dora Lozano of Dallas, Texas; son, James Lozano of Olympia, Washington; grandson, Seth Lozano, also of Olympia, Washington; brothers, Mike Lozano of Arlington, Texas, Richard Lozano of Leander, Texas, Edward Lozano of Dallas, Texas, and Daniel Lozano of Waynesboro, Virginia; sister, Velma Gidcomb of Dallas, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Mike Lozano officiating.
