Oleta Harlow, of Princeton, Texas, passed away on February 7, 2013, at the age of 87. She was born on July 25, 1925, in McKinney, Texas, to William Augusta and Maude (Hill) Morrison. On October 10, 1942, Oleta married Charles Wattam Harlow, in Dallas, Texas. They moved to Oakland, California in 1944. While in Oakland, Oleta worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Bell Phone Company. After her retirement, they moved back to Texas in 1977.
She is survived by her sister, Ruby Williams of Princeton, Texas; nieces, Patsy Bradley of McKinney, Texas and Carolyn Martin of Lewisville, Texas; nephews, Jerry McGarrah of McKinney, Texas and Warren Hutcherson of Princeton, Texas; many great nieces and nephews.
Oleta is preceded in death by her parents, William and Maude Morrison; husband, Charles Harlow; sisters, Aline McGarrah, Arlie Salters and Barbara Mayes; brothers, Wilford and Doyle Morrison.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Saturday evening, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
