Ofelia Martinez, age 70 of Little Elm, Texas passed away on February 7, 2011. She was born on November 30, 1940 in Imperial, Texas to Roman and Genoveva (Rey) Esparza. Ofelia married Alberto Martinez on April 20, 1960 in Ralls, Texas. She is survived by her children, Adan Martinez of Little Elm, Texas, Steve Martinez and his wife, Maria of Frisco, Texas, Vicki Martinez of Gunter, Texas; grandchildren, Blake King, Tanner, Hannah and Alejandro Martinez; brothers, Manuel Esparza and wife, Alicia of Monahans, Texas, Roman Esparza and wife, Santos of Ralls, Texas, Cruz Esparza and wife, Estella of Hale Center, Texas, Salvador Esparza of San Antonio, Texas, Rudy Esparza of Lubbock, Texas, Ernest Esparza and wife, Paula of Ralls, Texas, Edmond Esparza and wife Ana Berta of Amarillo, Texas, Ricardo Esparza and wife, Josie of Amarillo, Texas, Edward Esparza and wife, Linda of Lubbock, Texas; sisters, Belia Tovar of Odessa, Texas, Virginia Torres and husband, Felix of Ralls, Texas, Amelia Luna and husband, Armando of Ralls, Texas; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Ofelia is preceded in death by her husband, Alberto and her parents. A Memorial Service is pending.
