Obid Jack Tiller, age 10 months, of McKinney, Texas, passed away March 29, 2011, in Dallas, Texas. Obid was born May 26, 2010, in Dallas, Texas, to William Cecil and Brandi Lynn (Gaulden) Tiller and named for his great-grandfathers, Obid Tiller and Buford Jack Gaulden. God saw he was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arm around him and whispered “Come with Me”. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away and though we love him dearly we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us. He only takes the best. He is survived by his parents; sisters, Rebecca Tiller of McKinney, Texas and Monica Tiller of Lexington, Kentucky; Grandmother, Bertie Gaulden of McKinney, Texas; aunts, Lynn Luellen of St. Paul, Minnesota, Theda Moss of Menomonie, Wisconsin, and Barbara Hall of McAllen, Texas; uncles, Johnny Gaulden and wife, Rindy of Blue Ridge, Texas and Bobby Gaulden of McKinney, Texas; and aunt, Shelia Clifford of Farmers Branch, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Belle Gracia, grandfathers, Cecil Tiller and Charles Gaulden, cousins, Jordan and Cody Gaulden, and two-year old brother, Charlie Tiller. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
