Norris Therman Elswick, age 89, passed away November 15, 2005 in Frisco, Texas. He was born June 25, 1916 in Port Lavaca, Texas to John S. and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Elswick. Therman married Julia Juanita Land in March 7, 1937 in San Saba, Texas. He served in the U. S. Air Force during WWII, was a member of the Assembly of God faith and self-employed in accounting. Therman is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Juanita Elswick of Frisco, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and David Greeney of Frisco, Texas; two grandchildren, Dawn and husband, Dan Coday, and Jeremy Greeney; three great granddaughters, Mollie, Maddie and Abbie Coday; sister, Alma Rice of Freer, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim and Arlie Elswick and one sister, Thelma Collier. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 11:30 AM at Christian Life Assembly of Carrollton, Texas with Rev. Gene Allen, Rev. Jason Fullerton, Rev. C. A. McBride and Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Donations may be made to the Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, 8585 N. Stemmons Freeway, Suite 700 S. Tower, Dallas, Texas 75247.
