Norma (Hudson) Wagner, age 80, of Dallas, Texas passed away December 24, 2009. She was born April 8, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Al and Agnes (Erwin) Hudson. Norma grew up in Oklahoma City. She met her husband William “Doc” Wagner at Oklahoma A&M, now known as Oklahoma State. They were married for fifty-seven years. “Doc” Wagner passed away on New Years Day, January 1, 2009 at the age of 80. He was born on July 20, 1928 in Delphos, Kansas to Dr. William Wilson and Florence Elizabeth (Allison) Wagner of Nowata, Oklahoma. Doc proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He earned a bachelors degree from Oklahoma State. He worked for 3M for seventeen years, and for Home Depot in Plano for the past 15 years. Norma and “Doc” were married on August 22, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Norma raised her children, Leslie Wagner and Dane Wagner in Kansas City. The family moved to Houston in the 1980’s. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Houston where she enjoyed singing in the choir. For twenty-nine years she and her family lived in the Dallas area where she was a successful realtor with Ebby Halliday. She has now gone to be with her husband and the Lord and is now at peace. She is survived by son, Dane Wagner of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Leslie Wagner of Dallas, Texas; sister, Dorothy Cornwell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Mildred Hudson and numerous nieces and nephews. Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Al and Agnes Hudson; husband, “Doc” Wagner and brother, James Edward Hudson.
