Norma Dean “Dee” Huck, age 73, of McKinney, Texas, passed away September 10, 2015. She was born on November 9, 1941 in Springhill, Louisiana, to Drayton and Geneva (Sullivan) Burrell. On March 5, 1962, Dee married Delbert Julius Huck in Omaha, Nebraska.
She is survived by her children, Darla Searles and husband Rich, David Huck and wife Tracy all of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Kyle Searles and wife Melissa of McKinney, Texas, Tyler Searles, of Newport, Oregon, Drew Huck, Lauren Huck, Sydney Huck and Dylan Searles all of McKinney, Texas; great-granddaughter, Ariah Augustine; brother, Charles Burrell of Corinth, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Julius Huck; parents, Drayton and Geneva Burrell; and sister, Nelda Powell.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home.
