  • Brenda & all the Godwin Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Nora was a fine lady and will be missed. One memory I have of her is fixing my hair in high school for a fashion show we were having for homemaking class. We were modeling the clothes we had made in class. It is a good thing our hair looked nice.

  • Dear Godwin Family, Mrs. Godwin was a wonderful, kind woman. She always had a smile and a kind word to say to us. As we were just starting out in the ministry she was a source of encouragement. She and James gave a great amount of work and minstry to the Lord at Princeton, and led their family to do the same. One day we will experience the joy she is now having in the presence of Jesus.

    Donny & Tammy Cortimilia, August 13, 2009

  • James and family, we are thankful for the opportunity the Lord gave us to serve Him with you at FBC Princeton. Nora's sweet smile and kind words were so encouraging to us and to our ministry. While we do not weep for her (because she is with Jesus), we do share your sadness. But we confident that God's amazing grace will sustain you. You Are loved.

  • Brenda, James, Royce and Myra, I just found out that Nora had passed away. Jerry and I want to extend to you our deepest sympathy. Nora was a wonderful wife, mother and dear friend. Most of all, she was a fine Christian lady. I remember she and my mother in law , Hazel Stone working together teaching the primary class in Sunday School. Hazel lead the singing and played the piano. Nora was in charge of teaching the lesson. On occasions, I would help. I learned a lot from these two women. Nora, Hazel and Thelma Copeland are having a joyous time in Heaven. PRECIOUS MEMORIES!!!!! Love to all, Jerry and Nita Stone
