Nicole Kristine Leger, 34, of Melissa, Texas, passed away September 9, 2013. Nicole was born February 7, 1979, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Richard Gary Cox and Deborah Diane Hudson. She grew up in the Ft. Worth, Texas area where she graduated from Burleson High School. Nicole worked for Southwest Securities as a stock broker associate for a number of years. She volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and was a member of the “Mom’s Club”.
She is survived by her son, Steven Leger, III “Trey” of Melissa, Texas; father, Gary Cox and wife, Susan of Southwest Ranches, Florida; mother, Deborah Parker of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother, Dustin Parker, also of Ft. Worth; sisters, Angela Frith and husband, Darrell of Little Elm, Texas and Bree Haigis of Southwest Ranches, Florida; a host of other loving family and friends; and special friend, James Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013, at First Melissa in Melissa, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
