Nicolas Ryan Thompson Mata, age 22 of McKinney, Texas passed away November 13, 2014 in Fairview, Texas. He was born July 29, 1992 in Plano, Texas to Porfirio A. and Stacey Lorraine (Thompson) Mata.

Nicolas is survived by his parents, Stacey and Porfirio Mata of Dallas, Texas; grandparents, Carl and Shannon Thompson of McKinney, Texas and Don and Bea Hemphill of McKinney, Texas; great-grandmother, Frances Hemphill of McKinney, Texas; aunts and uncles, Dave and Renee Snell of Allen, Texas, Anthony and Becky Naputi of McKinney, Texas, and aunt, Kelly Thompson of Wylie, Texas; along with numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Talitha Wood; grandmother, Clarinda Jane Thompson; and great-grandfather, Ray Hemphill.
