Neal Jones Pattillo, Jr, age 80, of Plano, Texas, passed away August 13, 2011, in Dallas, Texas. Neal was born February 14, 1931, in Dallas, Texas, to Neal Jones and Vivian (Pogue) Pattillo, Sr. He married Marilyn Ojers on August 30, 1975, in Plano, Texas. He spent 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. Neal went on to become a Repair and Maintenance Technician at Texas Instruments, where he retired in 1990. He was an excellent mechanic. Neal loved Nascar and the Dallas Cowboys. You could find him at the local coffee shop every morning without fail. Neal was of the Church of Christ faith. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Pattillo of Plano, Texas; daughters, Deborah Pattillo Riley and husband, Mike of Bastrop, Texas, Kim Triece and husband, Tim of Lake Cherokee, Texas, Gwynne Pattillo Gresham of Coppell, Texas, Lynn Demoney and John Ginskey of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Karen Pattillo Peel and husband, David of Omaha, Nebraska, and Lisa Demoney Mott and husband, Terry of Provo, Utah; sons, Gary Pattillo and wife, Ann of Durham, North Carolina, Paul McIntier and wife, Tracy of Hutto, Texas, and Darin McIntier and wife, Jennifer of Allen, Texas; brother, Gilbert Pattillo and wife, Maxine of Lake Kiowa, Texas; sister, Barbara Stowers of Farmers Branch, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal J. and Vivian Pattillo, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
