Nancy-Jane Tucker David

Nancy-Jane Tucker David of McKinney, Texas passed away on April 17, 2017 at the age of 21.  She was born on December 11, 1995 to William Mark David and Sheryl Denise Tucker in London, England. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in McKinney.

Nancy-Jane was a 2014 graduate of McKinney High School where she was Senior Class President, an active member of P E Partners, PALS and the school mascot, “Leo the Lion”.  She attended the Heart O’ the Hills camp where she was a Chieftain and a counselor. Nancy-Jane was a junior at the University of Texas in Austin where she was a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity, a Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity Sweetheart, a Silver Spur Golden Heart and she was active in her Young Life small group.  She studied abroad with the University of Texas attending the University of Glasglow in Scotland. Nancy Jane along with her family were huge Mavericks fans.

Nancy-Jane is survived by her mother, Sherry Tucker of McKinney; father, Mark David of Dallas; brother, Gus David and wife, Courtney D’Alesio of Brooklyn, New York; sister, Georgia David and fiancé, Cody Kremer of Kansas City, Missouri; nephew, Luca David; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Margery Noble Tucker, Bill Tucker, and Bill and Nancy Jane Jamison.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, 315 North Church St., McKinney, Texas 75069 with Dr. Tommy Brumett officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
