Nancy Louise Foster, age 77, of McKinney, Texas, passed away July 27, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. She was born March 25, 1931 in McKinney, Texas, the daughter of Charleston and Susie (Norris) Newton. Nancy worked as a caregiver and was a faithful member of Bethlehem Christian Church in McKinney where she was a trustee and president of the usher board. Nancy served as the church liaison. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Bruce Hicks of Denton and Sharon Foster of Irving; son, Charles H. Foster, Sr. of Irving; six grandchildren, Adrian Owens, Warren Owens, Brian Owens, Charles Foster, Jr., Lawrence Wilkinson, Kimeka Carthen and nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Kelly of Dallas and James Kelly of Greenville; sisters, Katie Robinson and Ella Ray Young both of Ft. Worth; uncle, Benjamin Norris of McKinney and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2008, at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 1308 Wilcox Street McKinney, Texas, with Reverend Charles S. Wattley, Reverend Franklin D. Wilson and Reverend Kavin E. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
