Nancy Evelyn Fox Brotton was born November 19, 1934 in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was the third child born to her parents, Solomon Charles and Irene (Hill) Fox. She died New Year's Eve, December 31, 2011 at her home in Plano, Texas at the age of 77. She earned an Associate Degree from Sibley Hospital, Washington D.C. in 1955 and a Bachelor Degree in Nursing in 1980 from the University of Texas in Tyler--pursuing a 48 year career, finally retiring from Medical Center of Plano in 2003. Nancy was an avid reader and world traveler, she loved to experience the different cultures of many countries--traveling to England, Paris, Germany, Italy, Spain and New Zealand where she met and married the love of her life Frederick R. Brotton from Auckland, New Zealand. She would return home from one adventure and begin planning for the next one. She came to love the game of basketball when her grandson Holt Harmon of Plano began to play at an early age. She attended his games through high school and was looking forward to watching him play this fall at Cornell University where Holt accepted an offer to play basketball and attend the Dyson School of Business. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Nancy's life was filled with family who loved her and will miss her dearly. She is survived by her two children--son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Teressa Haines and her daughter and son-in law, Katherine Harmon and Paul Lukachek. Four Grandchildren, Crystal Haines, Timothy Haines II and wife Christina, Holt Harmon and Kendall Lukachek and six Great-grandchildren, Brittany, Paige, Timothy III (Tray), Clayton, Quinton and Nicole.
