Mrs. Nancy Marie Brewer, age 79, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, of McKinney, Texas passed away September 15, 2009. She was born on September 17, 1929, in Port Chester, New York to Dominic T. and Raphael (Colaprete) Gallicano. On January 20, 1948 she married Warren G. Brewer in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Warren preceded her in death on July 13, 2007, after 59 years of marriage. She was a member of the catholic faith and very active in the women’s bible study. Being the oldest child of four, she helped raise her siblings in a home filled with love and affection. She often said that raising her kids, grandkids and great grandkids is what gave her the most joy in life. She is survived by her children, Charles Brewer of Rowlett, Texas, Carol Ann Collins and husband, Don of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Kelly Marra of McKinney and Kimberly Heather Collins and husband, Michael of Frisco, Texas; great grandchildren, Loni, Tony and Gracie; sister, Elaine Kijek of Sun City, Florida and brother, John Gallicano and wife, Barbara of Copake, New York; and much loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tommy Gallicano. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
