Myrton McDonald

Mr. Myrton L. McDonald, age 92, of Dallas, Texas, passed away March 25, 2006, in Dallas. He was a born August 14, 1913 in Merkel, Texas to Eva and Myrton L. McDonald. He married Annyce Evans who was from Dublin, Texas January 6, 1935. Mr. McDonald graduated from Howard Payne University in 1938 and received his Masters Degree from the University of Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After World War II Myrton served 30 years in the Naval Reserve retiring as a commander. He was Executive Director of Caruth Rehabilitation Center. He is survived by his wife, Annyce McDonald of Dallas, Texas; son, Lynn McDonald of Austin, Texas; daughter, Sara Browder of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Tiffany McEvers, Cory McDonald and Candi Rogers; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives. His parents; son, Roger McDonald; brother, Jim McDonald; and sister, Helen McDonald preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon, Wednesday, March 29, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Chapel with Rev. Lynn Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
