Funeral services for Myra Lucille Dickson Hollis, 91 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday March 15th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Charles Wrenn and Randy Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in the Burns Cemetery at Trenton, Texas. Family visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Saturday, March 14th. Mrs. Hollis was born August 29, 1917 at Trenton, Texas. Her parents were Walter and Ada Crawford Dickson. She married Connie Hollis November 11, 1937 at Trenton, Texas and she was by his side as he ministered to various congregations of the Church of Christ throughout the area for 45 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trenton Church of Christ. She died Thursday March 12th at the Red River Regional Hospital at Bonham. She is survived by her daughter: Nell Marie Hollis of Leonard, Texas; her daughter-in-law and husband: Linda and Bob Price of Longmont, Colorado; her granddaughter: Lisa Hollis of Bermuda. She is also survived by her faithful companions Cokie, Baby, Rassie and DJ, who were always by her side, in her lap or under her feet. She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Ada Crawford Dickson; her husband: Connie Hollis; her son: Don Kenneth Hollis and her two brothers: Lester & J.B. Dickson Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Leonard is in charge of arrangements.
