IN LOVING MEMORY

Mrs. Mary Kay Hagedorn

Sep 20 1924 - Apr 01 2004

“Absent from the body, present with the Lord…” Mary Kay Hagedorn, age 79, of Allen, Texas, passed away April 1, 2004, in Allen, Texas. Kay was born September 20, 1924, in Terrell, Texas. Kay was a graduate of Baylor School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse. Kay met Frank, her husband, to be, while serving as a nurse to the returning wounded veterans during World War II. They fell in love and were married January 1, 1946, in Dallas, Texas. They were married 57 wonderful years. Kay had many, many friends and was a friend to many. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ since childhood and spent her life in committed service to Him and His church wherever she and Frank lived. The Kingdom of God is richer and fuller due to the life Kay lived before her family, her church, and to all who knew her. Always quick to speak of her Savior and serve Him in countless ways, she now exalts in His presence and has doubtless by now heard Him say, “Well done, my good and faithful srevant. Enter in to the joy of your rest.” Kay is survived by her husband, Frank W. Hagedorn of Allen, Texas; sons, Larry Hagedorn of Allen, Texas, and Lynn Hagedorn of Plano, Texas; granddaughters, Chrissy Dawn Hagedorn of Plano, and Jennifer Hagedorn of California; grandsons, Jeff, Travis, and Trevor Hagedorn, all of California. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar R. Roberts, her mother, Ida O. Phillips Roberts, seven brothers and one sister who passed away at the age of three. Her family and friends are comforted by their Savior and know that one day they shall all be reunited to spend eternity in the city of their King. “Wherefore comfort ye one another with these words…Even so, Lord Jesus, come quickly.” Amen! Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, etc., the family desires any acts of thoughtfulness be given to your local church for His ongoing Kingdom.
