Modesta “MoMo” Lopez, was born in McKinney, Texas on August 23, 1973. She went to our Lord and Savior on June 30, 2014, at the age of 40. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all who came in contact with her.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Lopez, Sr.; daughters, Stephanie Lopez, age 18 and Idalis Lopez, age 17; sons, Steven Lopez, age 22, Christopher Lopez, age 21, Caine Lopez, age 16, Abraham Lopez, age 15, and Jonah Lopez, age 14; mother, Sally Ayala; brothers, Fernando Ayala and Michael Tijerina; sister, Senida Ayala; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank G. Ayala and brother, Frank G. Ayala, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, 75013 or Exit 38A, Ridgeview Drive in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014, with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.
