Minister Byran Joseph Farlough, age 38, of Richardson, TX passed away March 20, 2008. He was born July 17, 1969 in Lutcher, LA to Joseph Farlough, Jr. and Shirley (Watkins) Farlough. On September 5, 1999 he married Erika Marie Rogers in Plano, TX. He graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA with a BS in Computer Science. He was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, RHO Chapter, spring ‘91. Byran was employed with Ericsson in Richardson, TX and was a minister at Restoration Center C.O.G.I.C., Plano, TX. He is survived by his wife, Erika Farlough of Richardson, TX; son Derwin Palmer-Farlough of Richardson, TX; daughters, Breé Anna Farlough, Lexus Farlough and Erin Farlough all of Richardson, TX, Jalana Farlough of New Orleans, LA; father, Joseph Farlough, Jr. and wife, Claudia of Mt. Airy, LA; mother, Shirley Farlough of McKinney, TX; grandmother, Carolyn Taylor of Rowlett, TX; brothers, Barry Farlough and wife, Dionne of McKinney, TX, Lance Melancon of Gramercy, LA; sisters, LaTanya Moning and husband Clifton of Mesquite, TX, Leisha Lemar and husband, Tajuan of Gramercy, LA and Natasha Farlough of Mt. Airy, LA; aunt, Barbara Johnson of Rowlett, TX and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Farlough, Sr. and wife, Sedonia, Tillman Watkins, Alexander Taylor and aunt, Leola Robert. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Greater Davis Chapel C.O.G.I.C., 716 Chandler, Garland, TX 75040 with Pastor Millard Harvey, Jr. officiating. Funeral services will also be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2008 at St. John Baptist Church, 287 Daffodil St., Mt. Airy, LA 70076 with Pastor Gary Bolden officiating. Entombment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery New Orleans, Louisiana. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m., prior to each service.
