Milton Dudley White

Mr. Milton Dudley White, age 57, of Weston, Texas, entered into glory on May 22, 2008, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on July 2, 1950, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Melton Fields and Nelwyn (Jackson) White. On November 5, 1983, he married Elizabeth Hoffman in Monroe, Louisiana. He was a computer scientist and program analyst for JP Morgan Chase. Mr. White enjoyed raising his longhorn steer named Ringo and his daughter’s horse, Feisty. Among his many hobbies were gardening, cooking, raising and showing collies (dogs). He was also involved with the Greyhound Rescue Society of Texas and the SPCA of Collin County. Mr. White was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Community. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth White and daughter, Laura Katherine White both of Weston, Texas; brother, Robert Fields White of Denver, Colorado; sister, Joanne Schmidt of Bainbridge Island, Washington; nieces, Emily Nicole White of Denver, Colorado and Allison Nicole Miller Rutzen of Prairieville, Louisiana; great nephew, Oakley Rutzen of Prairieville, Louisiana; numerous cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant child in 1989. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in McKinney. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Monday with a rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greyhound Rescue Society of Texas, P.O. Box 703967, Dallas, Texas 75370-3967 or the Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center, in care of the Baylor Health System Foundation, 3600 Gaston Avenue, Barnett Tower, Suite 100, Dallas, Texas 75246.
