Mildred Kathleen Miller (Mrs. John W. Miller), age 83, passed away Feb. 25, 2008, in McKinney, Texas. She was born April 15, 1924, in McKinney, Texas to Ray and Ola Duncan. On October 25, 1942, she married John Miller in Colbert, Oklahoma. She was a member of the College Street Church of Christ. Mildred’s interests were grandchildren, gardening, and church. She is survived by sons, Roger Miller and his wife Linda of Telephone, Texas and Gary Miller and his wife Vee Anne of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Kathy Edwards, and her husband Jack of Anna, Texas; grandchildren, Johnny Dale, James, Marlo, Chris, Tracy, Brandi, Sandy, Lorrie, and John; eighteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Duncan; and sisters, Rose Hulon and Linda Edwards. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Ray Smith Duncan, Gene Duncan, Dale Duncan, Carl Duncan and Dee Lynn Duncan; and sister, Margaret Davis. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen Texas with Brother Kenneth Averitte officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Prosper, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home on Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 PM.
