Mildred Horn Harris, age 93, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 21, 2008 in McKinney, Texas. Mildred was born November 8, 1914 to Joseph Benham and Willard (Fondren) Horn. She married Woodall Durham in 1935 in San Antonio, Texas and Ramsey Harris in 1962 in McKinney, Texas. She was a graduate of North Texas State University. Mildred was the owner of R. P. Durham and Son Insurance Agency in McKinney, Texas. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church of McKinney. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Taylor and her husband, Bill of McKinney, Texas and Judy Lang of Spearman, Texas; son, Joe Durham of Palestine, Texas; step-children, Kathleen Harris of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Doyle Harris of Belize, and Ramsey Harris, Jr. of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Carrie Tamer, Jay Durham, Billy Taylor, Jr., Tami Haynes, Jami Tillery, Teri Wilde, Juli DeMoss and Lori Lang; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Wallace Horn; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Woodall Durham and brother, J. B. Horn and second husband, Ramsey Harris. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas with Dr. Jim Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening beginning at 7:00 PM.
