Born January 5, 1967 in Dallas, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of August 7, 2014.  Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry H. Payne.
  Michelle is survived by her mother and step-father, Velma and Frank Schmidt of Tyler, Texas.  Sister's Patty Ruth Hill and Delany Kaye Hill, both who reside in Farmerville, Texas, brother Scott Kessler and his wife, Alicia, who reside in Phoenix, Arizona and her father, Edward Kessler of Krum, Texas.  Her foster daughter, Laney, of Columbus, Georgia, her beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her life-long friends Scott Stowell and Jay Podolsky, and also her cherished church family, Pleasant Grove Methodist in Climax, Texas.   
  She loved to be around her family, especially her nieces and nephews as well as the love she had for her dogs, Bama and Biscuit.  She also loved her daily devotions with her sisters. 
  Michelle will be remembered for her love of life, her humor and her compassion for those she loved.  She not only knew how to make you laugh but also knew when you needed a laugh. Memorial services will be held Saturday August 16, 2014 at the Hurst Fielder-Baker Chapel in Farmersville with Bro. John Livaudais Officiating.
