Michael Eugene Stevens, age 50, of Allen, Texas passed away December 4, 2007 at his home. He was born June 9, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Eugene Cecil and Eddie K. (Landrum) Stevens. Michael graduated in 1975 from Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Florida and from Texas Tech University. He worked for Texas Instruments for eighteen years and was a real estate agent for GMAC. He is survived by his son, Skyler Stevens of Lubbock, Texas; father, Eugene Stevens of Lakeland, Florida; brothers, Major Tim Stevens, USAF of Lakeland, Florida and Gregory Stevens of Richmond, Virginia; girlfriend, Leslie Newton of Allen, Texas; uncle and aunt, Omer and Lena Landrum of Rowdy, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eddie K. Landrum Stevens in 1997. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation prior to the service on Friday beginning at 5:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247.
