Michael Warren Lehde

Michael Warren Lehde, age 60, of Frisco, Texas passed away November 11, 2015, in Denison, Texas, after a year-long battle with ALS. He was born on October 28, 1955 in St. Ann, Missouri to Lillie Mae (Glauser) and Marvin Warren Lehde. A 1974 graduate of Hazelwood Central High School in Hazelwood, MO, Michael obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Missouri, St. Louis in 1978. On October 24, 1998, Michael married Linda Lee Davis. Michael was an avid golfer and had a passion for classic movies. He enjoyed dancing, live music (especially Jimmy Buffet and Country Western), a glass of Goose Cross Wine, and mixing up some “Duck Fart” shots with family and friends. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, always going the extra mile to help his family whenever possible.

Michael is survived by his wife, Linda Schottel-Lehde of Frisco, Texas; his four children, Melanie Matusiak and husband Marc of St. Louis, Missouri, Jenni Lehde Freeman and husband Nate of Silex, Missouri, Matthew Schottel and wife Stephanie of Seabrook, Texas, and Brandi Schottel of Washington, DC; his two grandchildren, Connor Matusiak and Fiona Rae Schottel; and his sister, Linda Brennan and husband Gary of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Avenue United Methodist Church, 3521 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75034, on Monday, November 16, 2015, at 3:00 pm with Rev. Laura Echols-Richter officiating.
