Michael Jerome Duran, age 34, of Celina, Texas passed away August 11, 2007. He was born February 2, 1973 in Fort Worth, Texas to Manuel Duran and Jane Vasquez Duran. Michael grew up in McKinney, Texas and graduated from McKinney High School in 1991. He graduated from ITT Technical Institute in 1994 and was employed by Verizon Business Solutions. He is survived by his wife, Laura Duran; children, Alexis and Austin Duran; parents, Manuel and Jane Duran; brothers, Manuel Duran, Jr. of McKinney, Texas, James Duran and his wife, Colleen of Celina, Texas, Gilbert Duran of McKinney, Texas, Gabriel Duran and his wife, Crystal of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Teresa Lopez and her husband, Noe of Howe, Texas, Dorothy Gallegos and her husband, Concepcion of Prosper, Texas, Rebecca Denison and her husband, Doyle of McKinney, Texas, Donna Waide of McKinney, Texas and several nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Steven Bierschenk officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. A Rosary service will follow at 7:30 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
