Melissa R. Juarez, age 28, of Princeton, Texas, passed away April 27, 2009, in Fairview, Texas. Melissa was born June 30, 1980, to David Paul and Linda Elaine (Cameron) Kiser. She married Jesus Alonzo Juarez on July 16, 2000, in Imperial, California. Melissa was an active member of New Heights Baptist Church in Wylie, Texas where she sang in the choir. She is survived by her husband, Jesus of Princeton, Texas; son, Andrew; daughter, Leila; mother and step-father, Elaine and John Poindexter of McKinney, Texas; father and step-mother, David and Rosemary Kiser of San Diego, California; mother-in-law, Esmeralda Juarez of El Centro, California; grandmother, Barbara Cameron, also of El Centro; grandparents, Don and Edna Kiser of Rosarito, Mexico; step-grandmother, Elsie Poindexter, of Allen, Texas; great-grandmother, Irene Wilkenson of Casa Grande, Arizona; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Paul Kiser in 2006. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation to be held from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
