Ms. Melinda Gail Burch Waskow, age 53, of Richardson, Texas passed away August 10, 2010, in Richardson, Texas. She was born September 29, 1956, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Melinda worked for years at Mimi’s Wig Boutique, where she assisted cancer patients. She loved to travel and was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas. Ms. Waskow is survived by her son, Mathew Waskow of Richardson; brother, Mike Burch and wife, Robin of Dallas, Texas; best friend, Mary Ellen Wilber of Plano, Texas; Matt’s grandparents, Margie and Joe Eskridge of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; nephews, Coleton, Bradley and Rowan Burch; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Hall “Momma”; and the love of her life, Steve. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Special thanks to Sue Evans and the rest of the Faith Hospice Team.
